see: a journal of visual culture
In the mid-1990s I was a founding editor of see: a journal of visual culture, published quarterly by the Friends of Photography and distributed by MIT Press. The innovative journal aspired to represent photography both to photographers themselves and to a cultural audience that finds photographs enigmatic and irresistible. Working with a passionate, talented team I commissioned and edited articles, directed graphic design and coordinated production, distribution, and overseas printing.
Film Arts magazine
Ten years later, I found myself once again sitting at the editor’s desk when I took on running Film Arts magazine, which you can read more about here.
